Ajay Devgan has officially announced the release date of Son Of Sardar. The film is all set to clash againstShahrukh Khan’s next directed by Yash Chopra, on 13th November 2012.
Tezz may have failed at the box-office, but Son of Sardar is inspired from a Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. The critically acclaimed original was one of the biggest grossers of 2010, supposedly has a strong script and holds tremendous mass appeal.

Directed by Ashwani Dhir, Son of Sardar also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla. The music will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
It’s final then – SRK vs Ajay Devgan this Diwali. And what’s more, SRK’s best friend and business partner Juhi Chawla has a key role to play in Son of Sardar!
